Human-centric personal-data-rights advocacy and standard-setting network (the “MyData” model — individuals as the control point for their own data flows), positioned adjacent to but distinct from SINE’s enterprise-to-enterprise data-commons focus (personal data vs. corporate/ industrial data).

Structure

A global coordinating nonprofit (Finland-registered) plus an international network of independently-organized local “MyData Hubs” (chapters) that run local events/advocacy under the shared MyData brand and principles — a federated hub model, loosely analogous to the Open Data Institute’s “Node” network but oriented around grassroots local chapters rather than a franchise-fee arrangement.

EU data-space ecosystem tie-in

MyData Global is a listed partner in the EU-funded Data Spaces Support Centre consortium alongside Gaia-X and IDSA — i.e. it already sits inside the same EU data-space policy ecosystem that SINE’s PACT/DPP work touches, without direct competitive overlap on the enterprise-MPC side.

Strategic relevance to SINE

A federated-hub/chapter model worth studying alongside ODI’s Node network if SINE considers international or sector-specific expansion without building out a large central headcount.
