Co-founder of the SINE Foundation (October 2020), based in Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. In parallel: Founder & CEO of 1Transformation (since 2016) and Director, Transformation & Sustainability at Performance Consultants International — with that firm since January 2006, in the Director role since February 2009. Profile spelling: “Tell Muenzing”; the wiki uses Münzing. Contact per profile: tell@1transformation.com.

Self-description: “Transformation Coach & Advisor to Owner & CEO | Abundance from Anima to AI | Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurs”; headline: “Transformation.CEO .FUND Founder 1Transformation Performance Consultants; Co-Founder SINE Foundation on digital sovereignty and data collaboration — Leadership Capabilities & Power4Good”.

Profiled from his own LinkedIn profile export (2026-08-14) — see Sources. ⟨Note: self-authored. The organizational descriptions in the source are his own marketing copy for the respective firms; quoted here only where something follows from them.⟩

Status ⟨2026-08-17⟩

  • Principal, not only subject of this wiki. The coaching stack exists on his decision of 2026-08-08, and the standing open questions page is addressed to him and Martin Pompéry. Unanswered since then.
  • Key Expert 1, Data Governance for GIZ Tender 10036847 — decided by Martin Pompéry, 2026-08-14; not Team Leader. The role carries 17 % of the assessment. The assessment of his profile against the KE1 requirements is held in the tender context: consortium constellation → Key Expert 1 against the profile.
  • Open on the person, not on the role: the formal CV fields a GIZ bid needs are absent from the source — see Open questions.

Reverse-chronological by start date. He states he has “been on this path in many different roles and fields since the 1980s”.

SINE Foundation (2020 – present)

His profile carries the most detailed first-hand SINE chronology in the sources so far — MPC carbon benchmarking with Cozero (2021) → Data Commons whitepaper (2022) → PACT for the WBCSD (2023) → iLEAP with the Smart Freight Centre (2025). It is held canonically in the Chronology section of SINE Foundation, together with the caveat on the PACT date; not repeated here.

What belongs on the person rather than on SINE: the framing vocabulary he uses for SINE is Digital Public Goods, Collective Action Problems, digital sovereignty, “cutting-edge research results in cryptography and economics” — a register the wiki’s own Data Commons page frames more in Ostrom’s CPR terms. ⟨Inference: same substance, different audience framing; worth being deliberate about which register SINE uses where.⟩

Performance Consultants International — and the coaching stack’s own bias

⟨Background: Performance Consultants International is the firm founded by Sir John Whitmore, publisher of Coaching for Performance and the home of the GROW model — see GROW (Whitmore) und Inner Game (Gallwey). The profile itself does not name Whitmore; it describes the firm as “pioneers and thought-leaders in the fields of coaching, leadership and transformation”, with Coaching for Performance “translated into 20 languages” and delivery in over 30 countries.⟩

This is materially relevant to the coaching stack, and it is a critical finding about the principal. The decision to make GROW/Inner Game part of the coaching agent’s mandatory repertoire (coaching-agent-draft) comes from someone who has held a leadership role in GROW’s own house for 20 years. ⟨Inference: a provenance fact, not a verdict — but it belongs next to the “make your own bias explicit” principle the draft is built on: the mandatory school is the principal’s home school. The wiki’s own grow-inner-game.md records the thin evidence base (Müller & Kotte 2020) and Scoular & Linley’s “sacred cow” finding; both facts stay visible side by side rather than being resolved.⟩

His stated focus there: embedding coaching cultures, “sustainability/CSR 10X strategy”, transformational leaders, “shifting individual root perspectives and developing personal accountability and consciousness for the greater good”.

The other stations (1998 – 2016)

  • 1Transformation (2016 – present) — “Holistic Transformation Agents”; transformation of culture, strategy, organization and investing, across “Breakthrough 4 Sustainability, Investing, Exponential Technology and Human Development”. Modes: advice, facilitation, coaching, design. This is the vehicle his contact address attaches to — see Open questions.
  • Impact Solutions (2012 – 2015) — Co-founder and MD; “new collaborations and innovation processes” for systemic challenges, serving organizations “that develop the value propositions, business networks, frameworks and infrastructure of tomorrow”. ⟨Inference: the same infrastructure-and-networks thesis SINE later executes on data.⟩
  • SustainAbility Ltd (1998 – 2007) — Senior Advisor, Sustainability Strategy, nine years, “collaborating globally with companies, the UN, and NGOs”. Per his description SustainAbility was “the premier pioneering corporate sustainability think tank, consultancy and advocacy organisation”, involved in “coining and shaping the Triple Bottom Line agenda”; later absorbed by ERM. ⟨Background: the Triple Bottom Line is associated with John Elkington, SustainAbility’s co-founder.⟩
  • Global Entrepreneurs (2011 – 2012) — Executive Director; nothing beyond the title in the source.

Worldview (own words)

  • “These are existential times.” Transformation must integrate personal, organizational and systemic renewal; “the quality of transformation grows with the consciousness of CEOs, boards and capital owners”.
  • Personal motivation: “a 2100 Agenda for a healthy planet and sane society for our children”, replacing the harm done to the natural environment with “a caring, circular and regenerative paradigm”.
  • Explicit vocabulary of bioregions and communities, “new ways of being and relating” — the same register as Bioregioning. ⟨Inference: explains why that school is in the coaching stack at all.⟩
  • Method-adjacent commitments that read directly onto the coaching stack: confidentiality, “everyone finds his/her pace”, “upsets turn into set-ups”, “deep commitment to your potential”, “secure space” — a developmental/humanistic stance close to Co-Active’s NCRW postulate, and in tension with the Heidelberg school’s constructivist refusal of essential potential (systemic-questioning-heidelberg). This is one of the eight divergences catalogued in question-logic-comparison; it now has a named position on one side of it.

Education

  • University of East Anglia — Master, School of Environmental Sciences.
  • University of Göttingen — Master, Economics.
  • ZfU — Leadership & HR Transformation.
  • Humboldt Gymnasium.

⟨Note: no years given for any of them in the source.⟩

Formal record — what the source does and does not establish

For any procedure that needs a CV in a prescribed format (the GIZ bid first):

Established by the source: two masters (Economics, Göttingen; Environmental Sciences, UEA); ZfU Leadership & HR Transformation; four named data-governance artefacts (2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2025); nine years at SustainAbility with UN and NGO collaboration; 20 years inside Performance Consultants International.

Not in the source: languages with levels, nationality, date of birth, availability in fee days, reference projects with client / country / year / own role / volume, and a publication list. ⟨Note: Dierks’s profile lists languages, Münzing’s does not — a gap in the source, not in the person. Every one of these fields is mandatory in the GIZ CV form.⟩

Relevance to SINE

  • Co-founder and principal. Sets direction for both the strategy work and the coaching stack in this wiki.
  • Bridge between the two halves of this wiki. The data-standards work (PACT, iLEAP, Data Commons) and the coaching/questioning work are not two unrelated interests of the group — they meet in his own career: systemic transformation pursued through both institutional infrastructure and individual leadership consciousness.
  • Network reach he claims: families, business leaders, startups, finance, tech, think tanks, coaches, NGOs, public-sector leaders.
  • The only participant in the tender constellation with no tie to a market player in the coffee chain — see the conflict-of-interest section.
  • Contrast with the other two imports of 2026-08-14: he is inside SINE, while Stefan Dierks (corporate buyer side) and Michael Opitz (producer/implementer side) are external.

Open questions

  1. Languages with levels, and nationality — mandatory CV fields, absent from the profile. Blocking for the KE1 CV before 21.08.2026. ⟨Lint 2026-10-12: that deadline passed seven weeks ago and the wiki still records no outcome — see open task 5. The gap in the profile stands; what is no longer true is that it is blocking. The identical correction was made on the consortium page at the 2026-09-14 lint and did not travel to this page.⟩
  2. Availability in fee days for the KE1 role over the twelve-month term.
  3. The four data-governance artefacts in reference format: client, country, year, his own role, volume. Currently the wiki has the artefacts but not the attributes a GIZ reference needs.
  4. Which legal person supplies him. His references attach to SINE, his contact address to 1Transformation. The clean form is: SINE is the consortium member, Tell is SINE’s named expert. Tracked as formalia item 5 on the consortium page.
  5. The eight open coaching-stack draft questions are addressed to him and unanswered since 2026-08-08 — open-questions.
  6. Publication record. For someone with 28 years in the field the profile lists no publications at all; SustainAbility and PCI both publish heavily. ⟨Inference: likely a gap in the profile export rather than in the record.⟩
